Eligibility Criteria
These internships are applicable to engineering, bachelors or masters in various fields. Community & Public Relations Internship: Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in public relations skills, including writing press releases, responding to media queries, and public speaking. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Undergraduate education in Public Relations, Marketing Communication, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to synthesise information, think critically, and provide creative ideas. Interest in supporting charitable causes. Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or authorised to work in the U.S. Must be currently located in San Diego, CA, or willing to relocate. Must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months. Must be able to communicate professionally verbally and in writing. Must be able to work in-person at The UPS Store, Inc., headquarters. Industrial Engineering Summer Internship: Qualifications and Skills: Knowledge of Industrial Engineering or related disciplines. Proficiency in statistical analysis. Strong research and communication skills. Enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to results. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or authorised to work in the U.S. Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the internship or willing to relocate. Current student enrolled in a degreed college/university program or recent graduate within the past 24 months. Must be available to work 40 hours per week. BaSE Ops Tech - Data Center Facilities Internship: Qualifications: Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed engineering college/university program, or graduated from a degreed engineering college/university program within the last 24 months. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Database Administration, Data Modeling, Data design, Documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Bi). Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorised to work in the U.S. for this employer. Finance and Accounting Summer Internship: Qualifications: Rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months. Understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills. Strong research tactics and organisation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and convey a positive and professional image. Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent. residence, or an alien authorised to work in the U.S. for this employer. Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate. Must be a rising college junior or senior, or recent graduate within the last 24 months.
