IRFI Scholarship 2024
The “Dr. MUBIN SYED” and “Mrs. AFSHAN SYED” Scholarship Program is designed to support two Muslim students (one boy and one girl) from Bellary, Karnataka, India. The program offers an annual scholarship of US $1500 (approximately Rs. 60,000) to each selected student, renewable for up to three additional years contingent upon maintaining excellent academic performance. The aim is to enable these students, who face financial challenges, to pursue a four-year college degree in professional courses such as Medical, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Management.
Documents Required
  • Completed application form.
  • Copy of official entrance test scores and rankings.
  • High school and college/diploma marks sheets, officially signed and sealed by a Gazette Officer or Notary.
  • Two letters of recommendation for conduct: one from a high school teacher/principal and one from a college/diploma teacher/principal, on official paper with seal and signature.
  • Name, address, and contact information of the college and course selected for payment purposes.
  • Proof of household income, officially signed and sealed by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be a resident by birth in “Bellary” District, Karnataka.
  • Applicants must seek admission in Bellary colleges for a four-year or longer professional course through the Government quota.
  • This scholarship is exclusively applicable to both genders.
  • This scholarship is only applicable for "Muslim Community".
  • Applicants must have attended high school and pre-university courses in Bellary District.
  • Applicants total family income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh per year, with proof required.
