The Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme (CMSS) in Gujarat is a flagship initiative that plays a pivotal role in supporting the education of deserving students pursuing diploma or degree courses. Launched by the Gujarat government, this scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections, ensuring they have the opportunity to access and excel in higher education.

Eligibility Criteria
For Fresh Application: The student must be a resident of Gujarat. The student must be admitted to a Diploma or Degree course. Annual family income should be up to 4.5 lakhs (Four Lakhs fifty thousand). Students belonging to SC, ST, and EBC categories are eligible for the CMSS Scholarship. For Renewal Application: The student must have passed the previous examination with at least 50% marks. At least 75% attendance is mandatory for renewal.
