Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat has been releasing the applications of Fellowship Scheme, Gujarat students studying class 11th to postgraduate level. The government is providing an opportunity to the students belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and other categories to avail scholarships for pursuing higher education. This initiative is basically taken to encourage the backward classes of society to pursue higher studies.

Reward:

Students pursuing studies of the secondary level will receive a fellowship of INR 2,000/- per month.

Graduate-level students will get the fellowship amount of INR 3,000/- per month.

The Fellowship amount to be awarded to the postgraduate level students is INR 5,000/- per month.

Eligibility

This scholarship scheme is available from students of class 11th to postgraduate level.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, and other categories can apply for this scholarship.

In order to apply for this scheme, students must have at least 70% marks in class 10th.

The family income of the students must not exceed INR 2.5 lacs
