"Har-Chhatravratti" is a centralized portal developed by the Department of Higher Education that provides a one-stop solution for the end-to-end scholarship process right from submission of application, verification, and disbursal to end beneficiary. Keeping in view the State Government’s commitment to making beneficiary-oriented schemes easily accessible, seamless, and transparent, a centralized State Scholarship Portal has been developed by bringing in 12 scholarship schemes of 5 major departments of the government under a single platform.

Scholarships are offered to deserving and needy students to encourage them to take up Higher education. This incentive falls in line with the motto of Higher Education of the State: Access, Equity, and Quality. Generation makes a Nation. Therefore the Govt. of India and Govt. of Haryana are always putting their efforts to attract students to Higher Education.

Eligibility:

Candidate Must have passed Matric or Higher Secondary or any higher examination from a recognized Board/University/Institute.

Candidate must be studying in an intermediate, graduate, and postgraduate level course.

Candidate must be domiciled in Haryana.

Candidate Must continue studies in the same stream/group.

the attendance should be more than 75%.

Family Income Should not exceed more than Rs.1 lakh.
