L T Build India Scholarship
The L&T Build India scholarship, initiated by Larsen & Toubro Limited, stands as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of one of the largest construction organisations globally. Geared towards uplifting deserving students, the scholarship offers the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate degree in construction technology and management at premier institutions in India. Targeted at final-year engineering students, the L&T Build India scholarship covers educational expenses, provides work opportunities, and offers a monthly stipend. This program spans a duration of two years, contributing to the professional growth of the recipients.
Documents Required
  • Class 10 and 12 certificates and marksheets
  • Diploma Certificate
  • B.E./B.Tech Marksheet – (all available marksheets up to previous semester)
  • A valid photo identity proof

    Eligibility Criteria
  • The candidates should be in the final year of Bachelor of Engineering [BE] or Bachelor of Technology [BTech].
  • Engineering graduates expected to pass-out in 2023 from an Indian recognised university or institute can apply to the L&T build India scholarship.
  • Only the candidates specialised in core civil engineering or core electrical engineering can apply to the L&T build India scholarship.
  • Two years of full-time M. Tech degree in Construction Technology & Management.
  • Academic partnerships with esteemed institutions such as IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, NITK Surathkal, and NIT Tiruchirapalli.
  • They should have secured a minimum of 70% or a 7.0 GPA (out of 10) in their BE or BTech course.
  • The candidates should have a knack for constructing landmark buildings.

  • A monthly stipend of Rs. 13,400 will be provided for 24 months until the completion of the course.
  • L&T will bear the sponsorship fee and tuition costs directly paid to the respective IITs/NITs.
  • Summer internship and final project opportunities at L&T project sites during the program duration.
  • Regular interactions, guest lectures, and knowledge-sharing sessions conducted by L&T professionals.
  • Employment opportunity at L&T upon successful completion of the course.

    Note: The company will directly disburse the course fee to the respective IITs/NITs.
    • Selection Process
    The selection process of involves various stages. They are:
  • The candidates should take part in the L&T BIS exam 2024. The exam is an online subject and an aptitude test.
  • The qualified students from the written L&T BIS exam 2024 should attend an interview. The L&T limited in collaboration with the IIT Madras or Delhi, and the NIT Surathkal or Trichy will conduct the selection interview.
  • The shortlisted candidates should clear the medical fitness round.
  • The selected candidates from the final round will receive the benefits of the L&T build India scholarship.
