Nursing Scholarship
The Sasakawa-India Leprosy Foundation is providing financial aid to students who reside in self-settled leprosy colonies and wish to pursue nursing studies. The scholarship is only available at institutions recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, and it does not cover any admission fees Eligibility criteria for the Sasakawa-India Leprosy Foundation scholarship To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant or at least one of their parents must have been diagnosed with leprosy and currently reside in a self-settled leprosy colony Only one family member per year can receive the scholarship The scholarship is available for applicants starting their nursing studies during the 2021-22 academic year Applicants cannot have received scholarships from any other organization For B.Sc. Nursing (Basic), applicants must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized school, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English For GNM, applicants from arts and commerce streams are also eligible Applicants must be at least 17 years old at the time of application Applicants must have completed their previous course in either 2021 or 2022 Key points of the Sasakawa-India Leprosy Foundation scholarship program S-ILF is accepting applications for financial support from students residing in self-settled leprosy colonies who wish to pursue higher professional studies The scholarship is available for Professional Masters, Professional Bachelors, and Professional Diploma courses only The scholarship is only applicable for courses offered by government-recognized institutions.
