Fulbright Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship
The Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowships offer Indian faculty, researchers, and professionals the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or engage in a combination of both at U.S. institutions. Grantees may also contribute to curriculum development, workshops, and seminars depending on the host institution's needs. These fellowships span from four to nine months.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of five years of relevant teaching, research, or professional experience for faculty/researchers. Professionals outside academe must possess a master’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Applicants should upload a recent significant publication (paper/article) not exceeding 30 pages.
  • Employed applicants must obtain their employer’s endorsement, confirming leave will be granted for the fellowship period. The endorsement must be provided by the appropriate administrative authority on the Letter of Support from the Home Institution.
