IFMA Foundation Scholarship
The IFMA Foundation scholarship program has been a significant contributor to the education and development of students in the facility management field. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the program has disbursed over US$1.4 million to support more than 576 students. The scholarships not only provide a valuable cash award but also fully cover the expenses associated with attending the World Workplace conference, including travel, registration, and participation costs. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, the Global Workforce Initiative actively explores opportunities to expand scholarship offerings. The program encourages applications from high school seniors, associate degree students, working students, and veterans, fostering a diverse and dynamic community within the facility management profession.

  • Attach a separate file of a high-resolution .PNG or .JPEG file headshot (photo) of yourself that can be used for marketing and recognition purposes if you are awarded a scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited institution, pursuing a degree in Facility Management or a related field. The specific degree level (Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate) is determined by the applicant's institution at the time of application submission.
  • Applicants must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 in Facility Management or related courses. For international students, documentation demonstrating academic achievement equivalent to a 4.0 GPA is required. International Grade Equivalencies can be referenced to determine eligibility.
  • Scholarship recipients are required to attend IFMA's World Workplace Conference and Exhibition in Austin, TX, scheduled from October 9th to October 11th. Additionally, recipients must actively participate in IFMA Foundation activities.
  • Working students are encouraged to apply, promoting inclusivity and recognizing the value of contributions from individuals actively engaged in the workforce while pursuing their education.
