JIA Illustration Award
The JIA Illustration Award, organized by the Japan Illustrators' Association, is an annual competition open to participants worldwide. Entrants can submit hand-painted illustrations, digital works, or three-dimensional pieces, with no specified theme. All submissions must be in JPEG format and must be the original work of the entrant.

  • All entrants must submit original works that have not been previously used for commercial purposes.

    • Entry Requirements
  • Participants may submit up to 5 original works.
  • Hand-drawn works should be scanned or photographed and converted to digital format.
  • Three-dimensional works should be photographed from 3 directions and submitted as a set.
  • Digital works must be submitted as JPEG files in RGB color mode, with each illustration in a separate file.
  • File dimensions should not exceed 2000 pixels in width and height.
  • Files should be named in the format: First name_Last name_number.jpg (e.g., andy_warhol_1.jpg).

  • Entries must be submitted via the entry form on the official website or by email.
  • All entrants must provide personal information, including name, gender, email address, real address, phone number, and details of the submitted works.
  • Payment of entry fees must be made via PayPal during the application process.
  • The application period is from April 2 to June 30.
