San Francisco High School Design Competition
San Francisco High School Design Competition
The Architectural Foundation of San Francisco is proud to announce the 55th Annual High School Design Competition, inviting high school students from both public and private schools in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and globally to participate. This year's challenge entails designing a Community Resilience Center in Greenville, CA, an unincorporated community in Plumas County, California, which faced significant destruction during the 2021 Dixie Fire. The proposed center aims to serve as a vital space for daily activities, emergency response, and communal recovery, emphasizing youth engagement, community-building, and gathering. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to Greenville's revitalization and envision its future through innovative design solutions.
