The "Short Term Loan Scheme" by the Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation Limited, under the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa, provides financial assistance to individuals from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Community for immediate expenses related to Education, Medical, and Business needs. The scheme aims to enhance their standard of living and integrate them into the mainstream of society. Interest Rate, Instalments, and Moratorium Period: For Education Purposes: Interest Rate: 2% per annum Repayment Period: 20 months Maximum Instalments: 20 Moratorium Period: 3 months For Business and Medical Purposes: Interest Rate: 2% per annum Repayment Period: 10 months Maximum Instalments: 10 Moratorium Period: 3 months Penal Interest: If the loan becomes overdue, a penal interest of 1% will be charged on the amount of the overdue instalment. Recovery: The entire loan amount along with interest will be recovered according to the rules in force.

Take a print of the proforma of the application form, or request a hard copy from the concerned authority. 5. In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest if required). 6. Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned authority.
