Responsibilities
Intern will work with Kroger Corporate Office Retail Operations department, working with managers, to gain an understanding of the Retail Operations department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Apply theoretical concepts acquired in the classroom to the retail operations line of business.
Interact with all business sections of the Retail Operations department and other corporate groups.
Assist the Retail Operations team with daily tasks and gain understanding of the responsibilities and retail business.
Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business reporting functions
Support the team's projects.
Participate in weekly department meetings.
Travel to off-site locations as required.
Complete specific internship assignments, as requested.
Complete cumulative project (summary of internship accomplishments) and presents to leadership team or appropriate managers.
Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
