NITI Aayog introduces the NITI Internship Scheme, aiming to engage students pursuing Undergraduate, Graduate, or Postgraduate degrees, as well as Research Scholars enrolled in recognized universities or institutions in India or abroad, as "interns." Interns will gain exposure to various verticals, divisions, and units within NITI Aayog, contributing to the analytical processes by collecting and collating empirical data and information. This internship provides an opportunity for interns to familiarise themselves with the functioning of the Indian Government, potentially benefiting their future pursuits.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate students who have completed or appeared in the term-end exams of the second year (4th semester) of their bachelor's degree course and achieved a minimum of 85% or equivalent marks in their 12th-grade examinations.
Graduate students who have completed or appeared in the end-term exams of the first year/2nd semester of their postgraduate program, or are currently engaged in research/PhD, and have secured at least 70% or equivalent marks in their graduation.
Students who have recently completed their graduation/post-graduation or have appeared in the final exams and are awaiting admission for higher studies, provided they have obtained a cumulative mark of 70% or more in all the years/semesters of their graduation/post-graduation until the date of application. Note: NITI Aayog offers an internship is exclusively based in India.

Other Information
Interns should bring their own laptops. NITI Aayog will provide them with a workspace, internet access, and other necessities as decided by department heads.
The internship duration must be a minimum of six weeks but should not exceed six months. Interns who do not complete this required duration will not receive any certificates.
This is an unpaid internship; no stipend will be provided to interns.
What You Will Need
Submit applications exclusively online through the provided link on the official website. between the 1st and 10th of each month.
Clearly specify the area of interest.
Each candidate is allowed to apply for an internship only once within a financial year.
Present original mark sheets and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their college or institution at the time of joining. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
