Eligibility Criteria
These internships are applicable to bachelors in various fields. Data Analytics Internship: Responsibilities: Develop high-quality reports and analytics to support ongoing projects and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Analyse large-scale datasets for accuracy and reasonableness using data processing tools. Support various projects by analysing data related to provider contracting, clinical aspects, claims, payment integrity, actuarial studies, customer service, and benefit designs. Research and implement solutions to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Minimum Requirements: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited college/university. Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Rising Juniors and Seniors are preferred. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Ability to independently solve analytical problems and deliver assignments/projects timely and accurately. Effective collaboration and communication skills. Intellectual curiosity and motivation to acquire new knowledge and skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Risk, Controls, and Assurance Internship: Responsibilities: Conduct control testing and review, documenting results effectively. Collaborate with audit team members, develop work programs, and assist in engagement planning. Assess risks associated with IT systems, operational processes, and financial processes. Document business processes dependent on information technology. Analyse results of specific or general work requests and provide research support. Engage directly with external audit firms for audit planning and remediation purposes. Minimum Requirements: Actively pursuing a Graduate Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related program (MSA, MSIS, MBA, etc). Ability to work onsite at the Indianapolis office for the duration of the internship. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Access. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Automation Specialist Internship: Responsibilities: Collaborate across business units to identify automation opportunities and propose solutions. Build automation solutions to simplify processes, enhance efficiencies, and ensure data integrity. Develop protocols and metrics to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives. Minimum Requirements: Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (May 20 - August 9) from the Mason, OH office. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or related field at an accredited university. Authorization to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements. Development experience in building automation using RPA tools such as UiPath & Microsoft Power Automate; certifications preferred. Ability to understand current and future states of business processes and workflows. Familiarity with emerging topics in artificial intelligence, conversational bots, and natural language processing. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, Java, C/C++, C#, and familiarity with SQL databases. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Data and Operations Internship: Responsibilities: Research, analyse, and document operations issues and resolutions. Collaborate with multiple teams to analyse, document, and coordinate issue resolutions. Support implementations and system configurations. Analyse and organise large datasets, contributing insights to resolve data discrepancies. Present deliverables and insights in stand-up meetings with key stakeholders. Identify workflows and document processes to optimise day-to-day functions. Interface with various teams and departments to assist with tasks such as data collection, analysis, and preparing strategic reports. Minimum Requirements: Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field at an accredited college or university. Must be authorised to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements. Experience with SQL or other database management/data analytics software preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
