Eligibility Criteria
This internship is exclusively applicable to Engineering, Bachelors & Masters degrees in Various fields. Business Management Internship: Responsibilities: Serving as the link between internal F5 services and product teams to develop and maintain a successful services strategy that supports F5's business in the country. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at promoting product tech refresh and sales of F5 strategic solutions. Utilising analytics to uncover valuable insights that drive continuous improvement in services strategy and execution. Taking ownership of the services-specific relationship with partners and setting strategic direction for their services business in alignment with F5's goals. Managing F5 global services partner programs to ensure a steady stream of annuity revenue. Qualifications: Currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or a recent graduate (graduated within 12 months prior to start date). Interested in service business management and passionate about technology. Eager to enhance your communication skills and combine them with a commercial and relationship-building role. Sales Internship: Responsibilities: Project Management: Taking the lead in managing projects aimed at identifying and engaging potential customers. This involves working closely with Account Managers, Distributors, and Partners to drive success. Progress Navigation: Monitoring project progress and scheduling, providing timely updates to stakeholders to ensure smooth execution at every stage. Qualifications: Currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or have graduated within 12 months prior to the start date. Interest in Sales and Marketing, with a passion for technology. Solution Engineering Internship: Responsibilities: Combining Technical Knowledge with Communication: Utilising your technical expertise and strong communication skills to support technical development and engagement across the country. Learning and Articulating F5's Solutions: Acquiring knowledge on how to build, demonstrate, and effectively articulate F5's solutions to various stakeholders. Collaborating with Regional Solutions Engineers: Working closely with the regional team of solutions engineers to brainstorm ideas, review workflows, and contribute your perspective to enhance team initiatives. Assisting with Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Providing assistance on Proof of Concepts to the wider Solutions Engineering organisation, gaining hands-on experience in practical implementation. Learning DevOps Methodology: Exploring and learning about the DevOps methodology, and actively participating in cross-training sessions to share knowledge with others. Conducting Market Research: Conducting market research to understand industry trends relevant to F5, and using this insight to inform business strategies. Qualifications: Currently studying a Computer Science or related Information Technology degree at a university, or have graduated within the last 12 months prior to the start date. Business Development German Speaking Internship: Sales development and communication: Working on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs): You will play a critical role in the sales pipeline by working on MQLs to develop leads specifically in the German-speaking market. This involves identifying potential prospects and nurturing them through the sales funnel. Collaborating with the Sales Team: You will work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement effective communication plans for engaging prospects. This includes coordinating outreach efforts and ensuring alignment between marketing and sales initiatives. Strategizing for Innovation: You will participate in team meetings to strategize and innovate ways to improve the overall sales development process. This may involve brainstorming new approaches, refining existing strategies, and sharing best practices. Staying Informed: As an authority in F5, you will stay informed about current technologies and industry trends relevant to the sales process. This knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate the value proposition of F5's products and solutions to prospects. Updating CRM: You will diligently update the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure that all prospect interactions and data are accurately recorded. This helps to maintain clean and up-to-date records, which are essential for generating accurate reports and insights. Providing Feedback: You will collaborate with other departments internally to provide feedback on the quality and quantity of the sales development process. This feedback loop ensures continuous improvement and alignment across departments. Review web page content and make recommendations for optimization based on SEO best practices. Perform competitive analysis and content gap research aligned with F5’s go-to-market priorities. Develop or enhance a content calendar for solutions and product marketing teams, considering optimal publishing times. Qualifications: Must be a current student in the United States pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Preferred majors include marketing, business information systems, or computer science. Willingness to relocate to Seattle for both the internship and potential full-time role upon graduation. Approaching Junior year or beyond at the time of the internship, with at least one summer left before graduation. Exceptional Sophomore or Freshmen may be considered. Available for a 12-week internship between May and September 2024. Internships outside of this timeframe cannot be accommodated. Required Skills: Curiosity or understanding of search engine functionality and page ranking mechanisms. Interest in digital marketing and proficiency in market research. Familiarity or understanding of internet operations and mechanisms. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of digital marketing and SEO principles and strategies is advantageous. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
