As an Intern, you would be working in the Virtual Prototyping group with highly professional and motivated colleagues to create solutions to enable early SW development and validation for the customers. The solutions help the company create a virtual representation of peripherals, SoCs, sub-systems, or complete systems. As part of the team, you would learn about the complexities of computer architecture and HW and SW interactions.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • These internships are applicable to Bachelors and Engineering degree's fields.

    AMS Layout Design Internship:
    Requirements:
  • Designing the physical layout of custom analog and digital blocks for multi-Gb/s SERDES IP.
  • Ensuring design portability across multiple foundry nodes.
  • Addressing signal integrity issues such as clock/data routes, differential routing, and shielding.
  • Implementing layout techniques to mitigate ESD and latchup.
  • Familiarizing with custom digital layout practices.
  • Incorporating design considerations for reliability, including electromagnetic (EM) and IR effects.
  • Understanding layout effects such as matching, reliability, and proximity effects.
  • Utilizing layout tools such as Custom Designer (similar to Cadence) and verification tools like ICV and Calibre.
  • Exposure to scripting languages like TCL and PERL.

    Technical Engineering Internship:
    Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of analog and/or digital circuit theory.
  • Familiarity with Spice, Verilog/VHDL is advantageous.
  • Conversational English proficiency.
  • Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.

    The Cloud 5G Internship:
    Requirements:
  • Typically requires no previous professional experience.
  • Knowledge base generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course training.
  • Experience in software programming and basics of VLSI (Very Large-Scale Integration) design.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting.
  • UNIX/Linux skills.
  • Desire to learn and explore new technologies, with a demonstrated ability in research and problem-solving.

    Analog Design Internship:
    Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in Electronics Engineering, Radio-physics, or Microelectronics.
  • Fundamental understanding of device physics.
  • Basic proficiency in schematic design of CMOS circuits, including oscillators, op-amps, voltage regulators, switches, and logic circuits. Knowledge of high-voltage blocks is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with design and simulation tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Unix environment basics, scripting, and commands.
  • Strong data analysis and debugging skills, with the ability to identify critical paths and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, including written and verbal English proficiency.

    MicroElectronics Academy Internship:
    Requirements:
  • At least in the 2nd year of studies in related fields such as Electronics, Robotics, Telecommunications, or Automation.
  • Basic understanding of the theory of operation of analog and/or digital circuits.
  • Familiarity with Spice, Verilog/VHDL is advantageous, but not necessary as we will provide comprehensive training.
  • Proficient in conversational English.
  • Eagerness to learn and explore modern technologies.
  • Passion for IC design and a desire to pursue a long-term career in this field.
