Eligibility Criteria
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree with an expected graduation until March 2026 Must remain enrolled in school until the end of the internship program Available for a 3-month on-site internship in 2024 No more than 24 months of professional full-time work experience in the technology field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience) International students requiring visa support must meet specific requirements: 1. The internship is integral to your education and essential for graduation. 2. The internship grants you credit(s) toward your educational program. 3. Hold a Bachelor's degree at the time of application. Site Reliability Engineer Internship: Responsibilities: Gather requirements, design, and implement the internship project. Share knowledge acquired during the internship within the company through presentations, tech-talks, and documentation. Participate in team meetings and work as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) within the team. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Development skills in one or more programming languages (Python, Golang, Java, or similar). Basic Unix skills including familiarity with operating system fundamentals and scripting such as Bash. Experience with cloud-native software solutions and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Basic knowledge of observability tools (e.g., GCP Logging, Prometheus, Wavefront, Datadog, PagerDuty). Software Engineer, Developer Tools Internship: Responsibilities: Develop and maintain modern tools for building, testing, and integrating software before delivery to the vehicle. Ensure developers can deploy software confidently, avoiding breaking changes and unforeseen regressions. Collaborate with automotive and cloud software teams to optimize the development experience and software quality across a large, safety-critical codebase. Build and integrate different tools and best practices to enhance development processes. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with modern development tools, particularly for embedded software (e.g., Compilers, Bazel/CMake, CI/CD workflows). Proficiency with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell) and a lower-level programming language (e.g., Go, Rust, C/C++). Familiarity with software development best practices such as code review and coding standards. Business-level proficiency in English. Software Engineer, Vehicle Platform Internship: Responsibilities: Develop tools to automate error-prone tasks and enhance team efficiency. Create testing frameworks to ensure the quality of deployed software. Develop libraries to facilitate fast, simple, and error-free distributed concurrent computation. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Development skills in modern C++. Familiarity with Python or at least one scripting language. Experience with embedded software or robotics. Business-level proficiency in English. Systems Engineer Internship: Responsibilities: Solve cross-functional problems and challenges using systems engineering principles. Build architectural models with SysML using CATIA Magic. Create system and software requirements. Promote Model-based Systems Engineering practices. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Development skills in C, C++, Python, or other high-level languages. Business-level proficiency in English. Tool Developer, Systems Engineering Internship: Responsibilities: Develop tools aimed at optimizing processes for systems engineering. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for the tools. Write, analyze, and manage requirements, resolving any conflicting requirements as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python development. Business-level proficiency in English.
