  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be Indian Citizens.
  • Internship opportunity is open to UG/ PG/ PhD students (Indian citizens) enrolled or completed studies from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad) in the fields of Science/Technology.
  • The duration of the internship is a maximum of 45 days.
  • Students must possess a minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.
  • Engineering (BE/BTech) | Should have completed 6th semester | Minimum 45 days.
  • ME/MTech | Should have completed 1st semester | Minimum 120 days.
  • BSc/Diploma | Only final-year students | Minimum 45 days.
  • MSc | The student should have completed 1st semester | Minimum 120 days.
  • PhD | Scholars should have completed coursework | Minimum 30 months.

  • The allocation of internship/project work is based on expertise, projects, facilities, and suitability of the student’s course to the work carried out at the respective Centre/Unit.
  • Applications are scrutinised by the respective Centre/Unit as per norms.
  • Project Trainees/Interns are not eligible for any stipend/remuneration/financial assistance.
  • Accommodation facilities are not provided, but Guest House/Hostel Accommodation facilities may be extended on a chargeable basis, subject to availability.
  • Certificate will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the project/internship and submission of the assignment report.
  • Project Trainees/Interns are permitted only in UNCLASSIFIED areas of DoS/ISRO labs/establishments.
  • Clearance must be obtained from Centres/Units for publishing papers/reports through external agents.
