Trade And Investment Law Internship By Govt. Of India
The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) was established in 2016 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). CTIL's primary objective is to provide in-depth analysis of legal issues concerning international trade and investment law to the Government of India and other governmental agencies. CTIL aims to build a dedicated pool of legal experts capable of providing technical inputs to enhance India's engagement in international trade and investment negotiations and dispute resolution. During the COVID-19 pandemic, CTIL has enabled over 200 students from various law schools to intern remotely using available technology. The Centre for Trade and Investment Law offers internship opportunities to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Law. This internship provides a platform for students to gain practical experience in international trade and investment law, exploring emerging areas in this field. It can serve as a valuable stepping stone for career opportunities in international trade law.
