Aikyashree Scholarship Program is the initiative of WBMDFC (West Bengal Minority Development Finance Corporation). Its main objective is to support the education of financially weak students of Minority communities. It provides support at both the school and college levels of West Bengal. The program is operated by the West Bengal Government and its subsidiary boards. Millions of students are being given financial assistance to support their higher education. WBMDFC took the initiative and started the Aikyashree Scholarship program for minority students (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddist, Parsis and Jain) so that they can finance their education and uplift their socio-economic status.
