Education is a fundamental right for every child, regardless of their financial situation. To ensure this, both the state and central governments have implemented various schemes. One such scheme is the SSP Scholarship 2023, launched by the Government of Karnataka, which can be accessed through the SSP login portal.

Benefits

The amount of scholarship will be directly transferred to the candidates account using direct transfer method

The bank account of the candidates will be credited by the concerned authority. The candidates must provide accurate details while submitting the application form.

Only the citizen of Karnataka can apply for SSP Scholarship

Every student can study without thinking about the financial condition

SSP Portal provides both pre-matric and post-matric scholarship

Eligibility

To apply for post matric scholarship the applicant should belong to the backward communities such as the SC/ST/OBC/Central OBC/Minority community/General/Kin of Defence Personnel.

The student it should be pursuing his or her Class 11/Class 12/BCom/ITI type courses

Girls students have a reservation of 30% of the scholarship amount

The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their last qualifying examination

The annual family income of the applying student should not be more than INR 2,00,000 from all sources.

The applying student should be a domicile of the state of Karnataka
