E Medhabruti Scholarship scheme
The e-Medhabruti Scholarship scheme for the year 2023, offered by the Government of Odisha, represents a significant effort to empower and support the educational aspirations of students across the state. This scholarship program is designed to uplift economically weaker students and recognize and nurture their talents, ultimately contributing to their holistic development and the progress of the nation.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Junior Merit Scholarship: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination of CSHE, Odisha, or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% or more marks.
  • The institution where the candidate completed their 10+2 education must be recognized by CBSE/ICSE. Students must attend regular classes at school or university institutes to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Senior Merit Scholarship: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination of CSHE, Odisha, or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% or more marks.
  • The institution where the candidate completed their 10+2 education must be recognized by CBSE/ICSE. Students must attend regular classes at school or university institutes to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • PG Merit Scholarship: Students must have completed their graduation. Students must attend regular classes at school or university institutes to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Technical & Professional Merit Scholarship: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination of CSHE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% or more marks, or they must have completed degree courses or equivalent 3-year courses (only for MBA, MCA, MFC, MSW) with a minimum of 60% or more marks.
  • Students pursuing higher studies through open universities or distance learning/correspondence are eligible.
  • Students should not be already availing scholarships for pursuing higher studies under any other state or Central Government schemes. Students pursuing diploma-level courses are not eligible for e-Medhabruti Scholarship (Technical/Professional).
  • Students pursuing MPhil and Ph.D. and those in B.Ed. and MEd programs are not eligible for UG, PG, or Technical & Professional Merit scholarships under e-Medhabruti.
