This scholarship is an initiative of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri to offer fee-waiver scholarships to students on the basis of their performance in the CGC JOSH examination. This scholarship ranges from 5 percent tuition fee waiver to 100 percent tuition fee waiver depending on the marks obtained by the applicant
CGC Jhanjeri Open Scholarship for Higher Education, We at CGC Jhanjeri believe that higher education is one of the most lucrative investments a student can make & any financial setback shouldn't ruin their chances of building a great career. Therefore, we have come up with CGC Josh – A Scholarship Test that gives financial assistance to students aspiring to pursue Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Application, Journalism & Sciences courses at CGC Jhanjeri

Eligibility

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in the fields of Engineering, Management, Commerce, Science, Computer Application, Pharmacy, Journalism & Mass Communication and Law at CGC Jhanjeri

Must have secured at least 60 percent marks in Class 10 and Class 12 to get admission to an engineering programme

Must have scored at least 50 percent marks in Class 10 and Class 12 to get admission to non-engineering programmes

Scholarship Guidelines

JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be conducted in 2 stages with day wise slots

It is mandatory to fill all the necessary fields with asterisk(*) marks

Password for exam will be generated by default as the date of birth in the format of (ddmmyyyy)(For example- 10jan2008) .Month must be mentioned in first three alphabets of month in small letters only.( for example- jan,feb)

Once you have registered yourself for an exam,it will be valid for 15 days or till the last date to fill the exam means you have to give the exam in 15 days or till the last date after registration

This condition is applicable in both stages. Students can reschedule the exam date only within 15 days of registration

Students will get a second chance to give the exam only if he/she has missed the exam (scheduled by student) in the first chance only

Result of the JOSH SCHOLARSHIP exam will be declared within 24 hours

Students can claim a scholarship within 30 days after declaration of the result. If not done, Exam will be reconducted after paying the fee again

Exam and registration of stage 1 cannot be carried forward to stage 2
