Cummins Scholarship
  • Cummins India Foundation (CIF) has initiated the 'Cummins Scholarship Program: Nurturing Brilliance' to support academically promising students from underprivileged backgrounds in pursuing professional degree and diploma courses in Engineering.
  • To date, this program has awarded scholarships to 1939 students. Alongside financial assistance, selected scholars are paired with senior Cummins employees who serve as mentors, offering guidance. CIF also facilitates the enhancement of soft skills through an e-learning Softskills module.
    • Documents Required
  • Applicants need the following documents at the application stage. These may be requested by the program coordinator at an appropriate time. These documents are crucial for the selection process
  • All original marksheets from Class 10th onwards, demonstrating no backlogs and a minimum of 60% in all academic examinations.
  • Receipt of college fee payment for the current academic year (2023-24 AY).
  • Income Certificate for 2022-23.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarship:
  • Currently pursuing a professional degree/diploma in Engineering at a UGC/Central/State Government recognized educational institute OR having achieved a minimum of 60% marks in senior secondary or higher secondary exams and admitted for further studies in the specified courses.
  • Students progressing to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd year of Engineering (Degree) OR the 1st and 2nd year of Diploma can also apply, provided they have scored a minimum of 60% in their previous exams.
  • Candidates' age should not exceed 25 years.
  • Preference is given to 1st/2nd year degree and diploma students.
  • Students in their final year of Engineering degree/diploma and postgraduate students are not eligible.
  • Total family income should not exceed ₹3 Lacs (Six lakhs) per annum from all sources.
  • This scholarship is available to students studying in and around Ahmednagar, Indore, Jamshedpur, Phaltan, Pune, Nagpur, as well as aspirational districts in Northeast, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand ONLY.
  • Candidates are not eligible if any family member has previously received the Cummins Scholarship.
