To promote technical education government of Maharashtra has initiated Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna. Under this scheme, all those students who are pursuing technical courses will be benefited. The scheme is specially designed for the registered labor or marginal landholder farmers’ child. Other students who meet the eligibility conditions as specified for others may also apply.

Eligibility

Should be an Indian

Applicant must have domicile of Maharashtra state

Applicant should have bonafide certificate of the Institute and have taken admission in the professional or technical courses, graduation degree, post graduation degree, or diploma level

Applicant must not avail of any other scholarship or not get any other step and under any scheme

For professional courses, Applicant should be a child of registered labor, child of Alpabhudarak or both as total annual income of family/ Guardian should not be more than 8 lakh.

For Non-Professional Courses, the applicant should have upto 1 lakh family Annual Income.

Courses approved by Govt/AICTE, PCI/COA/MCI/NCTE/University etc ) are eligible

During the course, the candidate should not have a gap of 2 years.

If family income is up to 8 lakhs then 10000 for 10 months or 8000 for 10 months if the institute falls in another area.

Benefits For registered labor/ Marginal landholder (Alpabhudharak) 30000 for 10 months if the area of the institute is in MRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad/Nagpur city. or else 20000 if the institute is in another area.
