The Hongirana Charitable trust in response to the escalating costs of education and the growing number of capable students facing financial barriers, Hongirana is committed to providing crucial support through its scholarship programs. These initiatives are tailored to cater to the diverse needs of various student groups, ensuring that no deserving student is left behind in their pursuit of education.

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be residents of Mysore, Mandya, or Ramanagara district.
  • Economic backwardness and academic excellence are the primary criteria, with no caste restrictions.
  • This scholarship is exclusively open to all genders.
  • This sholarship is exclusively open to all categories.
  • This scholarship is eligible for Primary, Secondary, Class 10, Class 11, Class 12, Engineering & Medical in various fields.

    Chiguru Scholarship Program:
  • Open to students from Class 1 through 12th.
  • The scholarship may cover tuition fees, books, and hostel expenses, with decisions made at Hongirana's discretion.
  • Continuation of the scholarship for the next academic year is contingent upon maintaining good academic performance, subject to Hongirana's discretion.

    Engineering Scholarship Program:
  • Admission to an accredited engineering college is mandatory.
  • The scholarship may encompass tuition fees, books, and hostel costs, with decisions made at Hongirana's discretion.
  • Maintenance of satisfactory academic performance is essential to retain the scholarship for the subsequent year, subject to Hongirana's discretion.

    Medical Scholarship Program:
  • Admission to an accredited medical college is mandatory.
  • The scholarship may cover tuition fees, book expenses, and hostel accommodations, with decisions made at Hongirana's discretion.
  • Continuation of the scholarship for the following year is subject to the maintenance of commendable academic performance, at the discretion of Hongirana.
