JSW Foundation Fellowship
The JSW Foundation, known for its commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment, is offering a unique fellowship program designed to nurture young leaders who are passionate about driving positive impact in society. This fellowship aims to empower individuals who are dedicated to addressing pressing social challenges and making a lasting difference.
BenefitsSkill Development: Fellows will participate in specialized training programs, workshops, and capacity-building sessions to develop essential skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, and project management in the development sector. Project Implementation: Fellows will have access to resources and infrastructure required to implement their projects, enabling them to bring their ideas to life and create a meaningful impact in their chosen fields. Mentorship: Each Fellow will be assigned an experienced mentor from the JSW Foundation network, who will provide guidance, support, and insights to enhance their professional growth. Networking Opportunities: Fellows will have the chance to connect and collaborate with a diverse group of like-minded individuals, including existing Fellows, industry experts, and renowned social entrepreneurs. Financial Support: Fellows will receive a stipend to support their living expenses and project implementation during the fellowship duration.
Eligibility A graduate/post graduate or a young professional with 1-7 years of work experience from a field such as science, humanities, engineering, medicine, agriculture or other professional streams. Less than 30 years old as on 1st May 2023 Conversant in English (as a primary medium of training) and at least 1 Indian language (for field projects) While a professional background in social work is not mandatory, those aware of the social sector and NGOs and have had a brief stint with the sector through sporadic or structured engagements are encouraged to apply. Potential applicants understand the risks and are willing to commit time for a deep engagement and a potential career in development.
