Lilla Poona Walla Scholarship
The Lila Poona Walla Foundation Scholarship is a beacon of opportunity for aspiring female students embarking on their engineering journey. Exclusively available to those studying in the first year or directly entering the second year of engineering courses within colleges in Amravati and Wardha districts, this scholarship blends merit with need-based support.
Documents Required
  • Proof of age. (Birth Certificate/PAN card)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Leaving Certificates
  • Marks Sheet – (10th, 12th , Diploma As applicable )
  • Admission Letter / Allotment Letter from College.
  • Result for Entrance exam (Government / college – if applicable)
  • Gap Certificate (If there is gap in your education)
  • Income proof of all earning members in Family
  • For Self Employed: Income Tax Returns for Income Tax Payer
  • Salaried: Form 16 Or last 3 months salary slips / Salary certificate from employer
  • Farmer /Daily Wages Worker/Self Employed-Not tax payer: -Income Certificate from Zilla Parishad / Local Government Authority
  • Retirees or Pensioners – Pension statement from the pension authority and/or from an authorized bank showing the gross monthly pension of the family member, inclusive of any supplementary allowances and before any deductions are required
  • Pensioners should also provide documents to show the official status or designation, gross salary drawn at the time of retirement and the name of the employing organization.
  • If students parents are farmer then student has to submit 7/12 document, Land passbook / RTC

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Only female students are eligible for the Lila Poona Walla Foundation Scholarship.
  • Eligible candidates are those who have secured admission in the first year of any engineering course or have secured admission in the second year of engineering directly (after completing a diploma).
  • Only female students studying in any engineering college in the Amravati and Wardha districts are eligible for the scholarship.
  • Only female students studying in the first year of BE/BTech must have secured a minimum of 70% marks in both 10th and 12th grades.
  • Only female students studying in the second year of engineering after completing a diploma must have secured a minimum of 70% marks in 10th and their diploma.
  • Female students studying in the first year of BE/BTech must be below 20 years of age.
  • Female students studying in the second year of engineering after completing a diploma must be below 21 years of age.
