General Guidelines
Mittal Panday Scholarship Girls [Graduate]: The scholarship is provided to students of specific Women’s Colleges in Ludhiana city. The applicant must apply for the scholarship in their own handwriting, providing necessary details about the family. After scrutiny of application forms, a meeting is convened by the Scholarship Committee to grant scholarships to deserving students. Scholarships are awarded to both old and new students found eligible by the Committee. Each college is generally granted two scholarships for Degree Courses and two scholarships for Professional Courses, subject to change based on merit. The scholarship amount is determined based on the fee structure applicable to Degree/Professional Courses in government/private colleges for girls. Mittal Panday Scholarship [Post Graduate]: The scholarship cheque is issued in favour of the applicant and is distributed once a year at a function held by the Trust in November during the Sat Paul Mittal National Award function. The scholarship amount is determined based on the fee structure collected from various Govt/Private Colleges offering postgraduate courses. For Post Graduate courses like M.Com/MA/M.Sc./PG Diplomas, students will be paid a maximum of Rs. 20,000 per year or actual, whichever is lower. For Professional courses like MBA/MCA/M.Tech/M.Ed./PG Diplomas, students will be paid a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per year or actual, whichever is lower. To continue receiving the scholarship, the student must provide a certificate from the concerned college along with a copy of the mark sheet indicating they have obtained at least 60% marks each year. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
