North South Foundation is dedicated to supporting undergraduate students pursuing courses in engineering, medicine, or 3-year polytechnic (diploma in engineering) based on both merit and financial need. Our platform utilizes uniform eligibility criteria to identify exceptional students from various chapters.

Eligibility

Students must rank among the top 10 percent at either the state or national level to be considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship is specifically targeted to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must belong to families with the lowest income levels.

Candidates must have secured admission to professional courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, and BDS), B.V.Sc., B. Pharmacy, B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Sc (Nursing), Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic), and Diploma in Agriculture in a Government College (including seats in Government Aided Colleges).

It is important to note that assistance is not provided for students at the high school level or those pursuing graduate (Master's) level courses under this category of scholarships.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants should not be receiving any other form of aid or scholarship.

Students from government schools and colleges will receive preference during the selection process.

Fresh students entering government colleges will also be given priority.

Preference will be granted to those achieving top ranks in their first attempt at the qualifying examination.

Additionally, students not availing other scholarships will receive special consideration.

North South Foundation is committed to serving as a last resort for providing financial assistance to deserving and needy students.

Selection process

Applicants will be shortlisted based on their applications, including academic records, income statements, and special circumstances presented.

Shortlisted candidates, along with their parents, will be invited for an interview as part of the final selection process.
