Prathibha Scholarship
The Prathibha Scholarship Scheme (STAR Application Form will soon be released by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE). KSCSTE, established in November 2002, operates as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Kerala. It comprises a State Council led by the Chief Minister of Kerala and an Executive Council chaired by the Executive Vice President (EVP). The scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for higher studies in Science to eligible candidates. Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicants' Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results. Stay tuned for further updates regarding the application process and eligibility criteria.

For Undergraduate (UG) course or the first three years of Integrated Postgraduate (PG) Course: First Year: Rs 12,000/- Second Year: Rs 18,000/- Third Year: Rs 24,000/- For Postgraduate (PG) courses (applicants must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in UG course): First Year/Fourth Year of Integrated PG course: Rs 40,000/- Second Year/Fifth Year of Integrated PG course: Rs 60,000/-
Selection Procedure
The selection process for awarding scholarships to applicants will be based solely on the rank list. Upon receipt of all application forms, the authorities will scrutinize them based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams, particularly in science subjects. Following the scrutinization process, the authorities will compile a rank list of applicants. Applicants will be categorized into different subject groups, such as Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Life Sciences. The weightage given to each criterion is as follows: Mathematics Sciences: 30% Physical Sciences: 40% Life Sciences: 30% Additionally, 10% of seats have been reserved for applicants belonging to the reserved category. After ranking all applicants, the final rank list will be prepared and released by the official authorities following the verification of all applicant documents.
