Punjab Good Governance Fellowship
The Punjab Good Governance Fellowship Programme is a collaborative initiative between the Government of Punjab and the Indian School of Business (ISB). The Punjab Good Governance Fellowship program is designed to involve young professionals in assisting the Government of Punjab in advancing the agenda of governance reforms. This initiative provides strategic and operational support across various administrative departments at both the state and district levels throughout Punjab. The primary objective of the fellowship is to offer assistance to the State Government in conducting research and implementing effective administrative practices in key areas of focus. This support is extended at both the State Headquarters and District Level, aiming to contribute to the overall improvement of governance and public administration in Punjab.

Distinct Roles
District Development Fellows (DDFs): DDFs will be stationed in various districts of Punjab or Municipal Corporations (MCs), working closely with the Deputy Commissioner’s office or the Municipal Commissioner’s office. Their primary responsibilities include coordinating with multiple stakeholders in the district to execute assigned tasks and projects. Governance Fellows (GFs): GFs will be attached to Administrative Secretaries of the State and will work within the concerned Departments. Similar to DDFs, their roles and responsibilities will be determined by the Administrative Secretary to whom they are attached. Their insights and recommendations will play a crucial role in shaping informed policy decisions at the State level.
