Infosys Foundation is a nonprofit organization, established in 1996 by Infosys for the betterment of financially disadvantaged communities. Infosys aims to financially support in the area of education, healthcare, rural development, art, and culture. In the area of education, Infosys partnered with Indian schools to promote education among girl students to financially support them.
The main aim of STEM Stars Scholarship 2023 is to bridge the gap between girl students and insufficient education so they will be able to get higher education in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM unlocks career prosperity, and innovation, stimulates economic growth, and become empowered. Around 1.6 million girl students are deprived of education, and the reason is financial instability. Under the STEM Stars Scholarship 2023 students will get financial help up to Rs. 1 lakh for every year of their education in which their tuition fees, living expenses or other accommodation will be covered.
