Telangana Pre And Post Matric Scholarship
The Telangana government offers a scholarship program aimed at providing financial assistance to students from diverse backgrounds. Eligible students, including those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Minority, Backward Class, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories, can apply for this scholarship. It is designed to help students who face challenges in paying their tuition fees. Through this initiative, students lacking financial resources can receive support to pursue their education. Interested students can apply for the Ts ePass Scholarship.

  • Attendance certificate obtained from an educational institution
  • Bonafide certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Income certificate
  • The first page of the bank passbook
  • Mark sheets for the last qualifying test/exam

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be permanent residents of the State of Telangana.
  • Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Backward Class (BC) / Economic Backward Class (EBC) / Minority category.
  • Annual family income must not exceed INR 2 lakh for applicants from SC/ST category, INR 1.50 lakh for applicants from rural areas, INR 2 lakh for applicants from urban areas and BC/EBC category, and INR 1 lakh for physically challenged applicants.
  • All applicants must have a minimum attendance of 75% in each quarter to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • All Pre & Post Matric Schools and Colleges in Telangana recognized by the Government of Telangana or Competent Authority.
  • The list of colleges is communicated by Administrative Departments (Departments of Higher Education, Technical Education, School Education, Health Medical and Family Welfare, Employment and Training) to the Commissioner of Social Welfare.
  • This scholarship is eligible for primary, secondary, ITI and master's level education in various fields.
