Umbrella Scholarship
Umbrella Scholarship is a scholarship that is available for the student currently studying in the Arunachal Pradesh state and belonging to the scheduled tribe’s categories. This scholarship will only be available for students currently studying in Class 9th and Class 10th from any Government or Central Board educational institution in the Arunachal Pradesh state.
Documents Required
  • School/college current year bonafide certificate
  • Self-attested certificate of academic mark sheet of the previous year
  • Income certificate
  • Passport-size photograph of the applicant
  • School leaving certificate
  • Hostel certificate (for hosteller students)
  • Domicile certificate
  • Thesis typing/printing bill (in case of MPhil, Ph.D., D.Litt, D.Pharm, D.Sc students)
  • Disability certificate (in case of disabled persons)
  • The first page of the bank passbook
  • Self-attested copy of Aadhar card
  • Self-attested caste certificate issued by the competent authority

    Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant must be a domicile of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Belong to the ST category.
    • For Pre-Matric Scholarship:
  • Students pursuing Class 9 and Class 10 education from Government/State/Central board schools are eligible.
  • Annual family income should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources.
  • Should not be availing of any other centrally funded scholarship.
    • For Post-Matric Scholarship:
  • The candidate should have passed matriculation or higher secondary from a recognized university/institution or Board of Secondary Education.
  • Should be pursuing post-matriculation level education (Class 11 and higher).
  • Annual family income should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
