The Vikramaditya Scholarship (MP) is a program launched by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is designed to assist financially disadvantaged students in pursuing their higher education. This initiative aims to offer free educational opportunities to deserving undergraduate students from the general category who come from low-income backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria of Vikramaditya Scholarship
To be eligible for the Vikramaditya Scholarship (MP), there is one main requirement: you must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, you must meet the following criteria:

General category: The applicant must belong to the General category

Academic performance: The applicant must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks or higher in their Class 12 examination

Family income: The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 1,20,000 for higher education and INR 54,000 for graduation

These criteria are important to ensure that deserving students from economically weaker sections of society, specifically those in the General category, are provided with the opportunity to receive financial support for their higher education.
